Wooden shutter parts for broken or misplaced parts

The wooden shutter from most of our manufacturers is made up of a few easy to follow main elements. refer to the diagram below. The shutter is held in place by the frame. This is a wooden frame the size of the window opening, and can be dispatched as a whole unit. We do not stock individual frame elements but sell as a WHOLE UNIT. There are 16 different frame mount types. These include inside mounted and outside mounted, tight to window and decorative frame types. The modern frames come with strip panels for out mounting covers which hide the screw behind. Older style frames do NOT have an outer panel. Make sure you stipulate the frame number when ordering.
Shutter Frames
Inside the frame we then offer 4 different louvers or slat sizes. These are ALL solid wood. These come in a range of colours and stains, from plain white to jet black. Refer to the diagram below shutter colours. The sizes for slats are:

Shutter Slats and louvers

• 47mm
• 64mm
• 89mm
• 114mm

The codes for these are SL435 – SL439
There are also special Kelly Hoppen Slats which are different. Please specify on our ordering parts page your manufacturer
Push rods / opening mechanisms
The wooden push rod is either front mounted or rear mounted. (CODES- SL435 and SL436)
These are available in the same range of colours depending on manufacturer. Please advise when ordering. The push rod is supplied with ‘hook and hinge’ joint for multi brand fitting.
Mid rails
This horizontal piece of wood has been popular for shutters due to the design aesthetic. We stock various sizes in full colour ranges. Please quote STOCK CODE: MR3214 with the colour number as listed. These are used for mid support on larger panels.
Bottom rail
the bottom rail is the solid wooden part and can be ordered separately as required. Stock code BRZ341
Top rail
As with the bottom rail this is available in stock.
Hinges
Shutter hinges come in antique brass, brass, brushed steel, ivory, white and chrome. We can also source other colours. The size of the hinges is universal across all ranges we stock and exchangeable between manufacturers. Please note some size variations in original hinge may occur in which case you need to widen the hole in the panel. This is an easy task with a chisel.
